I used Book Rank's Promostacker service on my latest release. Ram was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy from start to finish - including advice about allowing more time to promo. Unfortunately, I didn't have more time but despite the short timescale she managed to secure most of the spots I wanted that said their normal schedule time was within a two week time period.
She also chased up one promo which didn't go out - twice and it ran within my promo period. The release made back the promo cost before the promo was finished and every day a promo went out I saw a corresponding improvement in ranking and sales. The service saves a lot of time and aggravation - from endless filling in forms (just one for the service) and knowing which promos to organize first and in which order to have the most chance of success. Plus all the toing and froing and invoice payment with the providers. If you know you are going to do a big promo push, I'd organize it well in advance so that you have a chance to secure some of the spots with a long lead time. I've used this service for every release the last six months or so. I LOVE it! It saves me vast amounts of time. Ram always takes care of everything promptly. Once I had a release to reschedule, and she handled what would have been a headache for me very graciously. Honestly, not to be hyperbolic, but I can't imagine coordinating a release now without this service.
Wow. That was incredibly simple and with the additional discounts, not really more expensive. Work smarter, not harder! Let someone else do the hard work.
Ram made this an incredibly painless process. All I had to do was fill out the form, pay the fee, and Book Rank booked me for a number of promo opportunities. Ram even took the time to ask me about adjusting my promo window to better suit my genre.
In terms of results, I'm very pleased. I don't want to give specifics because I know results vary from book to book, but I saw a significant (and pretty sticky) boost on a $0.99 book. Will use this service again! |
